Anderson. I am a Seattle native now living
just south of Seattle in Tukwila, a city whose name is an adaptation of the
Indian word meaning "land of the hazelnuts".
Currently, I work at Microsoft as a
technical editor.
That takes up my working day, but in
my spare time, I like to trace my
family roots,
make
scale miniatures,
create
gemstone bead jewelry,
read,
take pictures,
collect apples, "made in occupied
Japan" cups
and saucers, and open salt dips,
and spend as much time as I can with my spouse,
Cady, and our two sons,
Casey, and
Corey.
One of my most memorable moments was graduating from college with
Casey and Corey, or what I like to call
my five minutes of fame (I'm still
waiting for my other ten minutes). Casey, Corey, and I then went
on to attend the
University of
Washington,
where I graduated in
June 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the
UW Technical Communication department.
