Here I am, putting the final touches on the outside of "1989 Anderson Place". This is my first dollhouse and I built it from a kit. Since building this house in 1989, I have built several more one and two room scenes from scratch, as well as most of the furniture inside the scenes.

Here's a little bit about the family that lives in my dollhouse

The occupants of 1989 Anderson Place are a young family with three daughters, twin 10-year-olds and a 2-year-old. They inherited the house and have spent a lot of time working on it. Although the outside of the house has the look of many of the old houses in Port Townsend, Washington, the inside has been modernized a bit. One of the nicest improvements the owners made was to put a skylight into the bathroom. Now the family is thinking about putting an addition onto the house---the twins would each like to have their own bedroom.
