The afternoon of my arrival I took a walk around the hotel and to find the conference center. I head down the main road in front of the hotel, and this leads to the intersection between Hegyalja út and Alkotás utca. Throughout Budapest I saw graffiti -- nearly every building and wall had some form of the stuff up to about 6 or 8 feet high. It gives one the feeling of a place that's not entirely happy and prospering.
