Dangling over the heads of the banquet attendees was a rather dynamic piece of art. In retrospect, I wonder what sort of feng shui it has - my impression is that sharp edges and erratic design are Bad Things. Perhaps this piece is to disperse evil flows that enter the room? I'd be quite happy if someone cleared this up for me.

The light colored wallboards on the right are actually the doors into the Grand Hall. These doors pivot along central, vertical axes to let people walk in.
