The Mars Society is an interest and lobby group with the goal of furthering exploration and settlement of Mars. They've built this cylindrical test module to research a number of aspects of life in what would be the Mars environment. We visited on the October 8th, which was fortuitous -- they dismantled the research station on the 9th to ship it to its service location: Devon Island, Canada.
